Another lovely family at one of my favorite spots; makes my photographer heart happy! I love being able to work with families to capture their young children. Knowing they will look back on the photos decades down the road and remember how their little ones hair curled at the ends or how their arms felt around their necks. Those are the priceless pieces of family history that are so important!

This lovely couple had their maternity session at the Noerenberg Gardens in Wayzata and it was one of my favorite sessions to date. So I had high hopes for their newborn session once their little guy arrived and, I have to say, it did not disappoint! Not only was baby a total doll but the Minnesota weather cooperated and we had the chance to go outside into their fabulous garden for some outdoor images.

My round of the Minneapolis Chain of Lakes continues! This time I added Cedar Lake to my list for this adorable couple’s mini maternity session a few months ago. Their little one should be arrving any day now so I wanted to make sure I blogged their maternity session before their newborn session and it reminds me how much I already miss Minnesota summers.

I just left this sweet couple’s newborn session so while I wait for their images to download I figured I should get around to finally blogging their stunning maternity session! We shot at the MN Landscape Arborteum last month and the weather and flowers were absolutely perfect. Mom also had one of the greatest maternity shirts I’ve ever seen- such texture! I am late on blogging this session but grandma came to me and wanted photos of her children and their families and we had the most lovely evening together in Ramsey, just north of Anoka and just East of Elk River, capturing three generations of smiles!
It is up to us to live up to the legacy that was left for us, and to leave a legacy that is worthy of our children and of future generations. ~Christine Gregoire
