Ahhh autumn, every photographer’s most favorite time of year here in Minnesota. Pretty sun, not too hot, not too cold, not too many bugs, no snow yet. Another extended family session in the books! This lovely family has me join them at their private property in the western Twin Cities suburbs and the sun and the weather could not have been more cooperative. The toddlers? Maybe a little less cooperative, but I captured those precious little smiles anyway. This session was a gift for grandma, which is one of the main reasons clients come to me for family photography sessions – capturing the generations of your family are so important, especially in these trying times when COVID has forced us to go long stretches of time without seeing our loved ones.
