Why choose Rebeccah Parks Photography?
I specialize in custom photography. This means that I collaborate with you to create a session that is unique, soulful, enjoyable and timeless. We will communicate before your session to select the best location, clothing and make-up choices. We will shoot for no less than an hour, ensuring a large selection of beautiful photos for to you choose from. Then you will sit down in the comfort of your home to view your gallery and choose your print images. No pushy sales tactics, no minimum order requirements; just an easy-going opportunity to view the photographs I have created for you.
Custom photography is the exact opposite of the JCPenny cookie-cutter model. I will never tell you that we can’t try another pose because you have reached your allotted limit, I will never say that you can only pick between a black or white backdrop, I will never cut your session off at exactly 20 minutes because the next client is waiting outside the door. I will listen to your needs, be there to capture your wit and beauty, and present you with final images that speak to who you truly are.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
Yes. A non-refundable deposit of $199 is required to reserve your date and time. Payment can be made via my website using any major credit card or debit card. Remaining balances are due on the day of the session.
How are my final products delivered?
I use a combination of hand delivery and first class post with insurance and tracking. It ends up depending on how far you are from my home in the northern suburbs.
What should we wear?
This will depend on a number of things- time of year, type of session, your personal style- but as a starting place you can find lots of ideas on my Pinterest page.
Can I bring my dog?
Sure! I love animals. Just be sure to let me know ahead of time if you plan on bringing a furry friend so that I can ensure our shooting location allows pets.
I printed my images at Target/Walmart/Costco/Walgreens and they look funny, what happened?
When you print your professional grade photos at a budget printer, you receive budget grade photos. No matter how much work I put into your session, with shooting and editing, I cannot control poorly calibrated printers at the photo counter of a chain store. The best way to ensure high quality prints is to use a professional lab. I recommend doing this directly through me to ensure 100% satisfaction.
Do you shoot weddings or events?
Yes, on a very limited basis. Contact me for more pricing details or to see a sample gallery.
How far will you travel?
On-location sessions taking place more than 20 miles from my home in zip code 55316 will incur a $1.00 per mile fee. Travel outside of Minnesota is possible on a limited basis, contact me for more info.
